your loved ones,
I wrote about my emotional trip to the border a few days ago. You may remember that we transported a good 2.5 tonnes of animal feed, which arrived in Kiev and Kharkiv just a few days later - where it is urgently needed.
I know this so precisely because Civil Relief Munich It is important to track the supply chain all the way to the end so that the aid arrives exactly where it is needed.

Perhaps you remember Luba, the dog we met on site, from my last post. She comes from the Ukraine and has lost everything there! After spending a few days with John on the Polish/Ukrainian border, Luba was to join her new owner in Kitzbühl. And we organised it.

A dog crate and a few small items (food, lead, harness, water, bowl) went on tour with Trip 67. Finn (my dog) borrowed this because he also wanted to help! After our drivers had unloaded all the relief supplies in Przemysl and moved into our new warehouse, they were able to freshen up, do a few minutes of eye care and then pick up the passengers. Then it was time for Luba to be picked up. Then the journey began.

For me in Munich, this meant clarifying and organising what to do next. To be on the safe side Katharina Tilgner and at the same time I looked for ways to get Luba to her new owner. A solution was found relatively quickly, Bob - the helper who had organised the 4.5 tonnes of animal feed, which we transported in 2 convoys - immediately agreed to take Luba from the parking deck at 6 a.m., brought her to Kitzbühl and then met Claudia on the way to hand Luba over.

I read about it in the chats this morning and looked at the photo documentation of the two handovers with you and had another emotional moment. That's what we do it all for! We help those who need help.

Luba is "just a dog" and yes, Ben/we can't save the whole world either. But for one dog - in this case Luba - her rescue means exactly that: the whole world. Thank you to everyone involved!
