Dear ones, sometimes it goes faster than you think. At first I thought I would pack pallets in the course of the week, but on Sunday morning I received a text message from Petra (Heimatstern e.V.) whether we wanted to pack at noon. Said - done!

We met at the camp at 1:30 pm. Before that, I had cleared out the food from my cellar and taken it with me. We remembered that there were about 350 kg of wet food.

When we arrived at the camp, we first unloaded the car and used this as the basis for the first pallet. A "little" dry food and transport boxes on it, foil around it - done!

Pallet 1: approx. 650 kg
Palette 2 hat ein etwa Gewicht von 500kg.
Pallet 2: approx. 500 kg
Palette 3 ist noch nicht fertig gepackt.
Palette 3: tbd

In the end, thanks to the great collection campaign by the Animal Shelter Starnberg, a food donation via Heimatstern e.V. and your support, we have almost managed to pack 3 pallets. In order not to have the last one just standing around, we will buy more food and pack the third pallet as well. We expect a final weight of at least 500kg. At the end of the week, 3 pallets with a good 1.6 tonnes of animal supplies will be sent to John in Przemyśl and from there on to needy camps in Ukraine.

You know, after the packing is before the collecting. So it goes on. In 3-4 weeks, the goods will be on their way again. Let's join forces and fill at least one, maybe even 2 pallets and send them off. You can find out how you can help HERE.

A big thank you to everyone who has already supported the Heimatstern e.V. for the wonderful cooperation and to the team of Ben hilft ...! You all motivate me to keep going!
